Corfu unfolds with a kind
of grandeur, where lush
hills meet the Ionian light
and history settles gently
into the landscape. At
Achilleion Palace, this
character becomes almost
tangible. Set within layered
gardens and framed by
cypress trees, the palace
doesn’t impose itself. It
recedes slightly, allowing
nature, symmetry, and
horizon to take the lead.
Beyond, the sea appears
almost as an afterthought,
a final note that completes
the composition.
