THE ICE CREAM OF MEMORY
In 1961, photographer Robert McCabe captured a timeless moment in Meteora: a humble EVGA ice cream vendor offering
refreshment beneath monastic stone and summer sky. Decades later, artist Caroline Rovithi reimagines this iconic cart in bold lines
and Aegean blue as “ΠΑΝΤΑ ΕΛΛΑΔΑ”—a conceptual tribute to Greece’s enduring spirit (opposite). This artwork was part of her
book All You Need is Greece (Key Books), with the support of the Greek National Tourism Organization.
Το 1961, ο φωτογράφος Robert McCabe απαθανάτισε μια διαχρονική στιγμή στα Μετέωρα: ένας παγωτατζής της ΕΒΓΑ
προσφέρει δροσιά κάτω από μοναστηριακή πέτρα και καλοκαιρινό ουρανό. Δεκαετίες αργότερα, η εικαστικός Καρολίνα Ροβύθη
αναδημιουργεί το εμβληματικό καρότσι με δυναμικές πινελιές και αιγαιοπελαγίτικο μπλε, στη σειρά έργων «ΠΑΝΤΑ ΕΛΛΑΔΑ»—ένα
έργο-φόρος τιμής στο ελληνικό φως και φρόνημα (απέναντι). Το έργο συμπεριλήφθηκε στο βιβλίο της All You Need is Greece
(Key Books), με την υποστήριξη του Ελληνικού Οργανισμού Τουρισμού.
